Book Review: The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern
Full disclosure, I still havenāt read The Night Circus, Erin Morgensternās first novel.
It took me a lot longer than expected to get into The Starless Sea, and I never did quite get wrapped up in the story. At first I wasnāt sure what it was, the style of writing, the cadence, but it is more complicated than that. I enjoyed all the little stories peppered throughout the myths and fables that come together was a real treat, and it was all those little tales that spoke to me.

Reconnecting in 2020
2020 is a new decade, a new fresh start, the perfect time to return to one of my most favorite pass times. Itās not really a New Yearās Resolution or goal, I donāt really believe in those. It is more a reentering of my interests into my life getting back to what I enjoy, what makes me uniquely me. One thing I have missed immensely is making time in my schedule for reading all sorts of books. I miss the stories, the history, the smellā¦
